Privacy Policy
Haullr is a dump truck dispatch service. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers our website, phone line, text messages, emails and the Haullr app.
Information we collect
- Contact details: name, phone number, email address and company name.
- Job details: pickup and drop-off locations, material type, number of loads, dates and times, and site notes.
- Communications: texts, emails, call logs, voicemails, and call recordings where we tell you a call is recorded.
- Driver details, if you haul with us: name, phone number, truck and equipment details, availability, and the jobs you take or pass.
- Location, for drivers: only while you are available or on a job. We keep your latest point to match you to nearby work and estimate arrival times, never a trail of where you have been.
- Website and app data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and cookies.
- Payment details, when you pay or get paid. Payments are handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card or bank numbers.
How we use information
- To quote, schedule and dispatch hauling jobs.
- To send job offers to drivers and confirm who took them.
- To send updates about quotes, scheduling, arrival times and completed jobs.
- To bill contractors and pay drivers.
- To answer questions and give support.
- To improve the service, prevent fraud and meet legal requirements.
We use automated tools, including an AI assistant, to answer calls and texts, collect job details and send job offers. A person on our team reviews every job before it posts and can take over any conversation.
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, we will text you about quotes, job offers, dispatch and scheduling updates, hours and tickets, and support. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is not a condition of buying anything.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the categories of sharing described below exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the service:
- With service providers that help us operate, such as our CRM and messaging platform, phone and text carriers, email delivery, hosting and payment processing.
- Between contractors and drivers, limited to what a job needs: the pickup and drop-off details go to the driver, and the driver’s name, truck and arrival time go to the contractor.
- When the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our users or the public.
- As part of a sale, merger or reorganization of our business.
How long we keep information
We keep information as long as we need it to provide the service, keep business records and meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymize it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, and each brokerage’s contractors are kept separate from every other brokerage. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
- Texts: reply STOP to stop texts, or HELP for help.
- Email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
- Access, correction or deletion: email us at the address below and we will respond as applicable law requires.
Children
Haullr is a business service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
